Historic food and drink
Be surprised by our beloved chef Diego or by the largest selection of draft beers in Amsterdam! At Rokin 84 (Enge Kapelsteeg entrance) you will go back in time 150 years. You take a seat in the former wine cellar of Gerard Heineken, the founder of Heineken. He built his own restaurant here. The good food continued but unfortunately for Gerard, Heineken doesn't flow from any of the 50 taps. And the history continues. A few steps from our door, the Miracle of Amsterdam took place in 1345, making our city a great place of pilgrimage from the 15th century onward.
